Chengappa has been associated with Hewlett Packard / Hewlett Packard Enterprise for the past decade. He started his career at Hewlett Packard, Bangalore as an Intern and from an early career in software testing and performance analysis, his current focus areas have moved him into defining, building and delivering NFV-based telco solutions bringing together technologies that form building blocks integrating Cloud-native applications / VNFs on NFVi platforms. Currently, he is associated with Telco Solution Engineering, leading solution integration of virtual Evolved Packet Core (vEPC) and characterizing performance benchmarking for network interface controller for NFV Systems. Being Senior member IEEE, he is also associated with CCICI, Cloud Computing Innovation Council of India (incubated out of IEEE Computer Society) as a founding member since 2012 and is actively contributing to defining Cloud Interoperability and Portability for India ecosystem in association with (Telecommunications Standards Development Society, India) TSDSI SG2. In parallel to these activities, he is also pursuing his Ph.D. from Visvesvaraya Technological University, Belgaum, before which he had completed his Masters in Philosophy (Computer Science) from Christ University and submitted Dissertation titled “A Trust Model for Cloud Security and Privacy for Startups in India.” He has been an author for many technical / IEEE publications. He also has been speakers at National/International events, including Open Infrastructure Summit, Shanghai-2019 for a talk on Cloud Interoperability and Open Standards for Digital India.
