Pawan Mulukutla is the Director of Clean (Electric & Hydrogen) Mobility and Energy
Tech at WRI India responsible for shaping WRI India’s Clean Mobility Program.
He is in-charge of the overall strategy and its implementation, partnerships and
engagement. He is leading a team of researchers and technical experts at WRI India on
supporting Government at both national and state level.
Pawan’s areas of focus includes EV Industrial evolution, Hydrogen Value Chain,
India's pathway to Hydrogen economy, Value chain system and Skill Development,
Energy Storage, Charging infrastructure planning framework, Vehicle to Grid Integration,
and EV Asset Financing.
Prior to joining WRI India, he was instrumental in setting up the e-micromobility
solution at Bosch. His focus was on development of business models, deployment of
the solution, performance measurement and analytics. He has designed e-bus networks
and prepared roadmaps for complete electrification.
Pawan has 20 years of experience in city mobility working with various stakeholders.
He likes to work very closely with start-ups and has mentored several of them to
develop their implementation plan, enhance business models and roll-out pilots
leading to scale-up.
